Fall Cake
- 1/2 cups Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 2 cups Applesauce
- 2 cups Flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Allspice
- 1/2 teaspoons Ginger
- 1/4 teaspoons Cloves
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Raisins
- 1 cup Butterscotch Morsels, Divided
- 1 cup Pecans, Chopped, Divided
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar (for The Topping)
- Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and applesauce. Combine dry ingredients and add, mixing well. Stir in raisins, 1/2 cup butterscotch chips and 1/2 cup nuts. Spread into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
- Combine brown sugar and remaining nuts and butterscotch chips and sprinkle all over the top of the cake batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done with a toothpick.
