Honey Beer Bread
- FOR THE BREAD:
- 3 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 3 Tablespoons Honey
- 1 bottle (about 12 Oz. Size) Beer
- 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Melted And Slightly Cooled
- FOR THE HONEY BUTTER:
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter, At Room Temperature
- 1/4 cups Honey
- 1 dash Salt
- Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F and butter and flour a loaf pan.
- Make the bread by whisking together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Add the honey and beer and whisk just until everything is combined. Pour the batter into the pan and pour the melted butter over the top. Bake 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a cake tester comes out clean. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
- To make the honey butter, combine the butter, honey and salt in a small bowl and mix until everything is thoroughly incorporated. Spread on the sliced bread for a wonderful afternoon snack.
