Honey Beer Bread

  1. Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F and butter and flour a loaf pan.
  2. Make the bread by whisking together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Add the honey and beer and whisk just until everything is combined. Pour the batter into the pan and pour the melted butter over the top. Bake 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a cake tester comes out clean. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
  3. To make the honey butter, combine the butter, honey and salt in a small bowl and mix until everything is thoroughly incorporated. Spread on the sliced bread for a wonderful afternoon snack.
