S’Mores Krispies
- 5 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Divided
- 20 ounces, weight Mini Marshmallows, Divided
- 1/4 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Chocolate Extract
- 1 cup Mini Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips, Divided
- 1 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
- 5 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
- Preheat oven to 500u0b0F. Line a 9x13 pan with tin foil and grease with 1 tablespoon of butter.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt remaining 4 tablespoons of butter. Add 3/4 of the marshmallows, stirring until melted. Remove from heat and add salt, vanilla, and chocolate extract.
- Add 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips and all the graham cracker crumbs, then stir until well combined. Add cereal, stir until completely coated in marshmallow mixture.
- Spread mixture into lined baking pan. Butter your fingers and press mixture down into pan. Cover the top with remaining marshmallows and bake for 2 to 3 minutes, or just until marshmallows start to turn brown.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips. Place entire pan in refrigerator and allow to cool for 1 hour.
- Remove foil from the baking pan, and cut into bars.
