Creamy Peachy Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Prepare your favorite single pie crust recipe and fit into a glass, deep dish pie plate. Set in the refrigerator.
  2. Peel and slice fresh peaches (this is probably the only time-consuming chore about this recipe). If you don't have fresh peaches you can use frozen, but thaw them out first.
  3. Whisk together the sugar and flour. Spread half of the sugar-flour mixture in the bottom of the unbaked pie crust. Spread the peaches on top and then sprinkle the remainder of the sugar-flour mixture on top of the peaches. Pour the cream over the peaches. Gently shake the pie plate to settle the peaches under the cream.
  4. Place the pie plate on a cookie sheet and bake for 45 minutes.
  5. Serve hot or cool first on a rack.
