Brown Sugar And Cinnamon Muffins
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. buttermilk powder
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. soft shortening
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 c. soft butter
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Sift together flour, buttermilk powder, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
- Cream sugar, shortening and egg together.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
- Blend in the water until the batter is mixed thoroughly but not overbeaten. Blend topping ingredients until crumbly.
- Put paper liners in 12 muffin cups and fill with batter.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over muffins.
- Bake for about 25 minutes.
