Frozen Pea Salad(24 Hour)
- 1 medium head lettuce (add last or use as the base)
- 1/2 c. sliced sweet onion
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts
- 1 sack or pkg. frozen peas, thawed
- 2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 2 medium tomatoes, cut fine
- 3 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
- 1/2 lb. bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- The day before serving, cover bottom of a 4-quart dish with layer of shredded lettuce.
- Top with layer each of onion, celery, water chestnuts and thawed peas.
- Spread with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with sugar, cheese, salt and garlic powder.
- Cover and refrigerate 24 hours.
- Top with bacon and tomatoes.
