Frozen Key Lime Dessert

  1. Mix the graham cracker crumbs, butter, granulated sugar and salt together and pat into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Place in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, cream the powdered sugar and cream cheese together. Dollop over the frozen crust and spread with an offset spatula. Spread gently so as to not disturb the crumb crust underneath.
  3. Mix the lime juice, condensed milk and zest together and whisk well. Pour over the cream cheese layer and then place in freezer for about 30 minutes.
  4. In a chilled bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until slightly thickened. Add in the 4 Tablespoons of powdered sugar and continue beating until nearly stiff, but not grainy.
  5. Spread over the frozen lime mixture, garnish with limes and zest.
  6. Freeze for about 2 hours, or until firm.
