Fresh Fruit Salad With Citrus-Poppyseed Glaze

  1. Place the chopped fruit into a large bowl and mix gently. Refrigerate.
  2. To make the glaze:
  3. Combine juices and sugar in a small saucepot over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the clear jel with the water and whisk well to combine.
  5. Slowly add the clear jel/water mixture to the boiling fruit juice, whisking constantly.
  6. Cook for about 1 minute, or until mixture is thickened and glossy and clear.
  7. Remove from heat, and whisk in a pinch of salt and the poppy seeds.
  8. Allow to cool to room temperature before pouring glaze over the fruit and gently mixing to combine. Refrigerate before serving.
