Strawberry And Lime Popsicles
- 1 cup Boiling Water
- 1 package Lime Jello Mix, 3 Ounce Box
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 cup Cold Water
- 1 container Strawberry Yogurt, 6 Oz
- 3 whole Strawberries
- 12 cups Plastic Cups
- 12 whole Popsicle (sticks)
- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil, remove from heat and add Jello mix package and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add cold water and yogurt and whisk until no longer lumpy.
- Puree the strawberries in a blender or food processor and add them to the mixture. Stir to combine, then pour the mixture into your plastic cups* and let set. After they start to set up, stick a popsicle stick in (again, we had to get creative and used plastic spoons). Then place in the freezer.
- * We used the little Solo cups that we use to rinse after we brush our teeth so this made 12, but if you want them bigger you could do 6 bigger cups, although you will probably have to give them longer to freeze.
- It took about 2-3 hours to freeze and they were great. I really think you can use any flavor Jello, fruit, and/or yogurt you want and they will end up great.
