Husband’S Favorite Chili Verde

  1. 1. In a large pot, saute onion in oil on medium low heat until onions are translucent. Add garlic and cumin, and stir until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. 2. Add all ingredients (except cornmeal and milk) into the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir cornmeal and milk together, add to the pot and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.
  4. Enjoy with cornbread.
