Homemade Peppermint Ice Cream
- 2-1/2 cups Milk
- 2-1/2 cups Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons Sea Salt
- 2-1/2 cups Half-and-half
- 5 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Peppermint Torani Syrup
- 2 cups Peppermint Candies, Crushed
- Heat milk until bubbles form around the pan. Remove milk from heat. Add sugar and salt, stir until dissolved. Stir in half-and-half, whipping cream, vanilla , peppermint syrup, and crushed peppermint candies.
- Place into an ice cream maker and follow manufacturer's directions. This is such a versatile recipe! Eventually you will come up with your own variations.
- Pour ice cream into individual containers for easy gift giving or for entertaining.
- May sprinkle a few extra pieces of crushed peppermint candy to the top to make it look even more adorable!
