Chicken & Dressing Casserole

  1. Brown chicken pieces in shortening.
  2. Make dressing as follows: Melt margarine.
  3. Saute celery and onion.
  4. Add this to bread crumbs.
  5. Add enough water to moisten as desired.
  6. Place dressing in large baking dish.
  7. Arrange chicken over dressing.
  8. Make gravy from drippings where chicken was browned, blending with remaining chicken soup and add water to make 2 cups of gravy.
  9. Pour over chicken and dressing.
  10. Cover closely.
  11. Bake 1 hour at 350u0b0.
