Jane’S Pumpkin Bars With Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13 cake pan or 15x10 jelly roll. In a large bowl, combine sugar, oil, eggs and pumpkin. Beat together on low until combined. Add cake mix and spice and mix on medium high for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased pan and bake for 25-35 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean. Cool completely.
  2. Frosting:
  3. Mix cream cheese and butter together until creamy. Add powdered sugar and maple syrup, whipping on low until moist then whipping on high for a couple minutes. Frost and cut into bars. Store in the refrigerator.
