Golden Fruit Cake

  1. Chop and dredge all fruits and nuts with flour.
  2. Cream together shortening and sugar.
  3. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture with sweet milk. Add almond extract, fold in dredged fruit and nuts.
  5. Fold in carefully, egg whites.
  6. Pour into greased 10-inch Bundt pan.
  7. Bake 2 hours at 275u0b0.
