Two Chicken - Broccoli Casseroles
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 c. mayonnaise or milk
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 tsp. curry powder
- 1 (20 oz.) bag frozen broccoli cuts, thawed and drained well
- 3 lb. cooked chicken, cut in 3/4-inch cubes
- 1 c. coarsely shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
- 1 can French fried onions (2.8 oz.)
- Lightly grease 2 (2-quart) shallow baking dishes or 8-inch square pans.
- Whisk undiluted soups, mayonnaise, lemon juice and curry powder in medium size bowl until well blended.
- Put 1/2 of the broccoli in each pan.
- Top with 1/2 of the chicken.
- Pour soup mixture over each; spread to cover.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350u0b0 until lightly brown.
- Scatter onions over top.
- Bake 5 to 7 minutes more until onions are lightly brown.
