Toasted Marshmallow Malted
- 11 Marshmallows (large, Jet-puffed Size)
- 4 Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
- 2 Tablespoons Whole Milk
- 1/4 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 Tablespoons Malt Powder
- Optional For Garnish: Whipped Cream Topping
- Preheat your broiler to high. Position a rack in the top of your oven. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Lay out the marshmallows on the baking sheet. Put it into the oven and broil for 3 minutes. Remove pan from oven and flip over the marshmallows. Broil for 1 minute more. Remove pan from oven and set it on a rack. Let the marshmallows cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
- Set 1 marshmallow aside and put the rest in a blender. Add the ice cream, milk, vanilla extract, and malt powder. Blend until thick and smooth. You may need to stop the blender and move the mixture around a bit with a spatula, since it will be thick. If the malted is too thick for you, thin it out with another tablespoon of milk.
- Pour into your serving glass. Top with whipped cream and the reserved toasted marshmallow. Enjoy!
