Ken'S Spicy Meat Loaf
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 c. hot pork sausage
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- Worcestershire sauce to taste
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 c. water
- Combine ground beef, sausage, egg, bread crumbs, onion, green pepper, garlic, half the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in bowl; mix well.
- Shape into loaf; place in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350u0b0 while preparing sauce.
- Combine remaining tomato sauce, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar and water to bowl; mix well.
- Pour over meat loaf.
- Bake for 1 1/2 hours, basting occasionally.
