Pumpkin Spice-Krispie-Treats
- 1-1/2 Tablespoon Organic Butter
- 1-1/2 Tablespoon Organic Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cups Organic Pumpkin Puree
- 12 ounces, weight Pumpkin Spice Marshmallows
- 1/4 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1 pinch Salt
- 6 cups Rice Krispies (Gluten Free)
- 1. Grease an 8x11 rectangular baking dish.
- 2. In a nonstick saucepan, melt butter and coconut oil together over medium-low heat.
- 3. Add the pumpkin puree and stir together with a silicone spatula until mixed well.
- 4. Fold in the pumpkin spice marshmallows, stirring constantly until almost completely melted.
- 5. Stir in the vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and salt, then remove from heat.
- 6. Allow the marshmallow mixture to cool about 10 minutes. (Be patient, otherwise you will get soggy pumpkin spice-krispie treats!)
- 7. Once cooled, add in the rice krispies and stir until evenly coated and press into baking dish.
- 8. Place in fridge for about 10 minutes to set.
- Note: These are best when enjoyed the same or next day!
