Vanilla Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes With Chocolate Frosting

  1. For the cupcakes:
  2. Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F. Fill a 12-count cupcake tin with paper liners.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugar until well blended. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract and beat again.
  4. In another bowl, mix together flours, baking powder, and pumpkin pie spice. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until well combined. Fill the cupcake tin and bake for 15 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Invert the cupcakes onto a wire rack and cool before frosting.
  5. For the frosting:
  6. Beat all the frosting ingredients in a large bowl until well combined. Have a few spoonfuls then frost the cupcakes! It doesn't get much better than that!
