Mama'S Fruit Cake

• 1 large container fruit cake mix (candied fruit)
• 1 large can crushed pineapple
• 1 large bottle cherries, chopped (save a few whole to decorate top of cake)
• 1 large can sliced pineapple
• 1 bag coconut
• 1 box raisins
• 1 box mince meat (optional)
• 3 eggs
• 1/3 c. oil
• 1 box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
• 2 c. self-rising flour
• 1 qt. chopped pecans
• 1 c. pecan halves

1. Mix cake according to directions on box in a large bowl. Drain juice from sliced pineapple and cherries into cake mix. Add crushed pineapple. Mix well. In a separate bowl put self-rising flour. Take mixed fruit, chopped pecans, raisins, chopped cherries and mince meat and add to self-rising flour. Coat with flour, then gently fold into cake mix. Put into pans sprayed with Pam. Bake for approximately 1 hour
2. in a preheated 350u0b0 oven. After 1 hour turn oven down to 200u0b0 and cook for several hours or until you can stick an ice pick in and it comes out clean.
