Easy Apple Dumpling

  1. Prepare apples and butter 4 custard cups large enough to set apples in.
  2. Mix 1/4 cup

  6. with the cinnamon. Roll apples

  8. cinnamon-sugar.
  9. Place

  11. custard
  12. cups. Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture
  13. over
  14. apples.
  15. Stir
  16. together 1/4 cup remaining sugar with the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix egg, butter and vanilla.
  17. Spoon
  18. batter over apples, dividing evenly. Bake at 375u0b0 until
  19. crust is golden and apples are cooked,

  21. to 40
  22. minutes.
  23. Serve
  24. with
  25. slightly
  26. sweetened whipped cream or ice cream.
