Apple Pie Bruschetta
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 1-1/2 Tablespoon Tapioca Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Coconut Palm Sugar Or Sucanat
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Plus Extra For Garnish
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
- 1 pinch Sea Salt
- 3 whole Golden Delicious Apples (peeled, Cored, And Diced)
- 1 whole Gluten Free French Baguette
- 1/2 Tablespoons Olive Oil (for Brushing Bread)
- 1 sprig Rosemary, Garnish (optional)
- 1. Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F.
- 2. In a large bowl, mix together lemon juice, maple syrup, tapioca flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and sea salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- 3. Then add the peeled, diced apples into the bowl and toss until well-coated.
- 4. Pour apples into a greased baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
- 5. Slice baguette into 1/2" pieces and place on a baking sheet. Spray or brush with olive oil. Bake for 5-6 minutes. Remove the apples and the baguette slices from the oven when done.
- 6. Plate the slices of bread, then top with apple pie mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish with a rosemary sprig if desired.
