Tamale Pie

  1. Pour milk over cornmeal. Saute onion, pepper and ground beef in bacon fat. When light brown, add tomato juice, salt, sugar, chili powder, corn and juice from the bottle of stuffed olives. Simmer a few minutes.
  2. Add cornmeal mixture and whole olives.
  3. Mix with the hot water and put in greased casserole. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Remove cover and brown 15 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
  6. Serves 6.
