Chocolate Ripple Cake

  1. Cream butter, oleo and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  2. Add vanilla.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk until smooth after each addition.
  4. Pour 2/3 of batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
  5. Combine chocolate syrup and baking soda.
  6. Lightly blend with remaining batter.
  7. Pour over batter in pan.
  8. Do not mix!
  9. Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 75 minutes or until tested done.
  10. Cool completely before removing from pan.
  11. Can be frosted or dusted with 10x sugar.
