Applesauce Pecan Bread

  1. Beat eggs until foamy.
  2. Stir in next 4 ingredients.
  3. Mix together 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and next 5 ingredients.
  4. Gradually add to first mixture until well mixed.
  5. Stir in 1 cup nuts and the fruit.
  6. Spread in a well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  7. Mix remaining nuts, cinnamon and brown sugar and spread evenly over batter and press in a little.
  8. Bake in a preheated 350u0b0 oven for 1 hour.
  9. To keep from overbrowning, spread foil over top last half an hour.
  10. Turn out on side on a rack to cool.
  11. Can be frozen.
