Crab Imperial

  1. Make sauce from first 11 ingredients and cook over low heat until thickened.
  2. Stir a little of hot mixture into 1 beaten egg, then add egg to sauce.
  3. Add crab meat mix and put into oven-proof dish.
  4. Combine 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs and 1/4 cup melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle over top and heat at 350u0b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until browned on top.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. (Serves 4.)
