Ham And Noodle Casserole
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 5 Tbsp. butter
- 3 c. milk
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 c. ground ham
- Saute onion in 3 tablespoons butter until tender, but not browned.
- Stir in flour.
- Add milk; cook until mixture bubbles, stirring constantly.
- Season with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and mustard.
- Place layer of noodles in buttered baking dish; cover with ham and sauce.
- Repeat layers.
- Mix bread crumbs with remaining butter.
- Cook over medium heat until crisp. Sprinkle over casserole.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Yields 4 to 6 servings.
