Sausage, Cheese And Caramelized Onion Quiche
- 1 whole Pie Crust
- 1/2 whole Sweet Onion, Caramelized
- 8 whole Sausage Links, Cooked
- 1-1/2 cup Shredded Cheese Of Your Choice
- 6 whole Eggs
- 1/3 cups Cottage Cheese
- 1/4 cups Milk
- 1/4 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried Chives
- 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Par bake the pie crust at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Remove to cool.
- Spread the caramelized onions in the bottom of the pie crust. Add the meat and top with as much shredded cheese as you like.
- In a separate bowl, mix the beaten eggs, cottage cheese, milk and spices until well incorporated and pour over the pie crust.
- Bake at 350 degrees for approximately an hour. Check and cook for additional time as needed-you don't want the quiche to wiggle at all. Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes.
- Cut and serve with sour cream if you wish!
