Oven Stroganoff
- 2 1/2 lb. sirloin, cut in strips
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 c. hot water
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- Cook meat in 1 tablespoon butter until it loses its red color. Add onions.
- Cook for 5 minutes.
- Place into casserole.
- Melt remaining butter in saucepan.
- Blend in flour.
- Add bouillon cubes, hot water, salt, pepper, mustard, Worcestershire and ketchup.
- Cook until thick.
- Beat in sour cream.
- Pour mixture over meat.
- Cool; cover and refrigerate.
- The day of dinner:
- Bake in oven at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
- Serves 4 to 6.
