Southern Cornbread Dressing

  1. Cook onions and celery in small amount of water.
  2. Crumble cornbread and bread together with fingers.
  3. Add cooked rice.
  4. Add celery, onions, apples, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
  5. Add enough turkey stock or chicken broth to make a drop (sloppy) batter.
  6. Add well beaten eggs.
  7. Pour into a well greased 9 x 13-inch pan or baking dish.
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour till brown.
