Chocolate Cherry Brownies
- FOR THE BROWNIES:
- 1 package (18.25 Oz Size) Devlis Food Cake Mix
- 1 can (21 Oz. Size) Cherry Pie Filling
- 1 Tablespoon Almond Extract
- 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
- FOR THE FROSTING:
- 2 cups Sugar
- 8 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 1-1/4 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1. Grease and flour a 15" x 10" jelly roll pan. Preheat oven to 350 F.
- 2. In a large bowl mix cake mix, cherry pie filling, almond and extract and eggs together. Pour into pan and smooth the top.
- 3. Bake at 350 F for 20-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into middle of brownies comes out clean
- 4. In a saucepan over medium heat combine sugar, butter and milk. Once it hits a boil, cook for 1 minute then remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until chips are melted. Spread on top of the warm bars.
