Chocolate Chai
- 2 whole Bags Black Tea
- 1/2 cups Water
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/8 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 1/8 teaspoons Ground Cloves
- 1/8 teaspoons Cardamom
- 1-1/2 Tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Semi-sweet Chocolate Chip Or Chopped Chocolate
- In a medium saucepan, place tea bags, water and cinnamon and bring to boil. Remove from the stove and let sit covered for 5 minutes. Discard tea bags.
- Add milk, sugar, vanilla and spices. Whisk to combine. Add cocoa powder and whisk again.
- Add chocolate chips and return the saucepan onto the stove. Cook until heated through and the chocolate has melted. Do not boil.
- Serve hot with the addition of milk froth.
