Spicy Orange Marinade

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil, onions, and garlic. Saute until translucent. Add chili powder and pepper and mix until combined. Deglaze pan with Worcestershire sauce, orange juice, and your favorite barbecue sauce. Bring mix to a boil and then reduce to the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Once mixture has reduced, add your favorite hot sauce and season with salt. As sauce cools, it will continue to thicken. If sauce needs to thicken more, make a cornstarch slurry (combine 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water) and stir into the sauce.
