Pear Dumplings
- 1 whole Sheet Of Frozen Puff Pastry
- 2 whole Pears
- 4 Tablespoons Almond Paste
- 4 Tablespoons Sour Cream
- 3 Tablespoons Cinnamon Sugar
- 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Melted Butter
- Thaw puff pastry in the refrigerator overnight.
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0F.
- Peel, core and slice pears into 8 sections each. Cut the puff pastry into 4 equal sections.
- Roll about 1 tablespoon of the almond paste into a ball then flatten and place in the center of one of the squares of the pastry. Put 1 tablespoon of sour cream on top of the paste, then sprinkle a little less than 1 tablespoon of cinnamon sugar on top of that. Arrange 3 or 4 slices of pear in the center of the pastry. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of brown sugar over the pears. Fold the corners toward the center, over the pears. Use toothpicks to hold in place.
- Brush a little melted butter on top of the dumpling, then sprinkle some more cinnamon sugar on top of that. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Bake until golden brown.
