Hawaiian Pork Chops

  1. Trim fat from chops.
  2. Sprinkle chops with salt, coat with flour.
  3. Brown chops on both sides in hot Crisco.
  4. Drain excess fat; add pineapple juice concentrate, the 3/4 c.
  5. water, sugar, lemon juice and spices.
  6. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Combine cornstarch and cold water; add to chops.
  7. Cook and stir until sauce thickens.
  8. Top each chop with pineapple slice; cook for 5 minutes more.
  9. Makes 4-6 servings.
