Homemade Kit Kat Bars

  1. Line an ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan with a layer of crackers.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, milk and white sugar.
  3. Bring to a boil, then continue to boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour 1/2 of mixture evenly over crackers.
  4. Put another layer of crackers on top, then pour remaining sauce on those crackers.
  5. Top with one last layer of crackers.
  6. In a new saucepan, combine peanut butter, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips and melt over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Spread evenly over crackers.
  7. Chill for at least one hour and then cut into bars.
  8. Store in fridge.
