Chocolate Fudge Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan.
  2. Microwave the sugar, butter, and water until bubbly, stirring once. Add the chocolate and stir until completely melted. Stir in the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each one. Stir in the vanilla, add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir well. Stir in nuts, if using (I like chopped pecans).
  3. Pour batter into pan. Now the fun starts; you can leave it alone (they're the bomb plain), or add nuts, milk chocolate chips, or swirl in cream cheese, or peanut butter.
  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Go hide in the closet and enjoy.
