Chocolate-Caramel Oatmeal Bars
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. quick-cooking oats
- 1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- 3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
- 1/4 c. chocolate fudge ice cream topping
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Combine 2 cups flour, oats, brown sugar, soda and salt in a large bowl.
- Add margarine and beat at low speed of an electric mixer until mixture is crumbly.
- Press half of mixture in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- (Reserve remaining crumb mixture.)
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans.
