Chocolate-Caramel Oatmeal Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Combine 2 cups flour, oats, brown sugar, soda and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add margarine and beat at low speed of an electric mixer until mixture is crumbly.
  4. Press half of mixture in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  5. (Reserve remaining crumb mixture.)
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans.
