Strawberry Pretzel Delight
- 2 cups Finely Crushed Pretzels
- 1/2 cups Sugar, Divided
- 2/3 cups Butter, Melted
- 1-1/2 package Cream Cheese (12 Ounces Total)
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 cup Whipped Cream
- 2 cups Boiling Water
- 1 package Strawberry Gelatin (6 Ounce Package)
- 1-1/2 cup Cold Water
- 1 quart (4 Cups) Strawberries, Sliced
- 1) Heat oven to 350F.
- 2) Mix pretzel crumbs 1/4 Cup sugar, and butter. Press into bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Bake 10 minutes. Cool.
- 3) Beat cream cheese, 1/4 Cup sugar & milk until well blended. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over crust. Refrigerate.
- 4) Add boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 minutes until it's all dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1-1/2 hours or until thickened (not firm!). Stir in strawberries; spoon over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 3 hours until firm.
