Rainbow Finger Jello

  1. Take a 9.5" x 13.5" glass dish and coat the inside with Pam spray. Take a paper towel and evenly distribute the grease while absorbing the extra. This will prevent the jello from sticking.
  2. Decide in what order you want the colors, and begin!
  3. Mix 1 cup hot water with 1 packet gelatin and 1 packet Jello; stir until dissolved. Pour the first layer of liquid into the glass dish and set on an even surface in the fridge (really make sure it's even or your layers will come out wonky!). The first layer will take about 45 minutes to an hour to set.
  4. White you're waiting, prepare the mixture for the white layers:
  5. Pour and scrape out the can of condensed milk into a medium/large mixing bowl. Then add 1 cup hot water and mix until thoroughly combined. Set aside.
  6. Mix together 1 cup of hot water and 2 packets gelatin and stir until dissolved. Then add to the bowl of condensed milk and stir by hand with a whisk until fully mixed. Set aside to cool, but stir it through the process to keep it from setting. If it does start to firm up, stick it in the microwave until it liquifies again.
  7. Once the first layer of jello is firm, take it out of the fridge and gently pour 1 cup of the white mixture evenly over the top. Return to the fridge and let it set up for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  8. As soon as you've put the dish back to cool, start mixing up the next layer of Jello exactly like you did the first layer (1 cup hot water + 1 packet gelatin + 1 packet Jello, then stir until dissolved). By doing this as soon as you can, it gives the hot Jello liquid enough time to cool off so it doesn't melt the layer that you pour it on. Once the white layer is firm, pour the Jello and stick back in the fridge.
  9. Then just repeat each step (color jello + white + color + white + color) until all ingredients are used up! The first layer takes the longest, but each layer after that sets up within 30 minutes.
  10. Once all layers have been poured, it's best to keep it in the fridge for a couple of hours just to ensure that everything is solid. Then cut into squares and enjoy!
