Basic Baked Eggs
- Butter (enough For Greasing Ramekins)
- 6 whole Eggs
- 6 Tablespoons Half-and-half
- 6 pinches Dill
- 6 pinches Ground Cayenne Pepper
- 6 pinches Salt
- Before you begin, you'll need 6 individual 1/2 cup ramekins.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0 F and put a full kettle (or pot) of water on to boil.
- Grease each ramekin with butter.
- Crack one egg into each ramekin.
- Add a tablespoon of half-and-half to each ramekin.
- Into each ramekin, put a pinch of dill, ground cayenne pepper and salt. (Spice combinations can be changed up to your liking. You could even add cheese, bacon, ham or whatever tickles your fancy.)
- Place ramekins in a baking dish and fill baking dish halfway up ramekins with the boiling water.
- Place baking dish in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and carefully take each ramekin out of the baking dish.
- Serve warm.
