Basic Baked Eggs

  1. Before you begin, you'll need 6 individual 1/2 cup ramekins.
  2. Preheat oven to 350u0b0 F and put a full kettle (or pot) of water on to boil.
  3. Grease each ramekin with butter.
  4. Crack one egg into each ramekin.
  5. Add a tablespoon of half-and-half to each ramekin.
  6. Into each ramekin, put a pinch of dill, ground cayenne pepper and salt. (Spice combinations can be changed up to your liking. You could even add cheese, bacon, ham or whatever tickles your fancy.)
  7. Place ramekins in a baking dish and fill baking dish halfway up ramekins with the boiling water.
  8. Place baking dish in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and carefully take each ramekin out of the baking dish.
  10. Serve warm.
