Blondie Sundaes

  1. In a large bowl, beat the egg, brown sugar, butter and vanilla. Combine flour and salt; gradually beat into egg mixture. Fold in chips.
  2. Transfer to a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Bake at 350u0b0 for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs (do not overbake). Cool on a wire rack.
  3. For sauce, in a large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in the brown sugar, cream and salt. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat. Stir in vanilla. Cut brownies into squares; serve with ice cream and sauce.
