Broccoli And Cheese Lasagna
- 1 box lasagna
- 1 large pkg. frozen broccoli
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. small curd cottage cheese
- 1 (12 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese (3 c.)
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of each: salt, pepper, garlic and oregano
- Steam or boil broccoli until tender; drain.
- Cook lasagna as directed on box.
- Drain; let sit in cool water (this helps it not to stick together).
- In a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, add 1/2 cup of water.
- Put a layer of pasta on bottom of pan.
- Mix together the cottage cheese, 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs and spices in a large mixing bowl.
- Spread some of this cheese mixture over lasagna and then lay broccoli over that.
- Continue to layer pasta, cheese mixture and broccoli, until completed.
- Top with leftover Mozzarella cheese; cover with foil.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Cool for 15 minutes.
- Serve.
