Dirt Cake

• 1/2 c. butter, softened
• 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 to 1 c. powdered sugar, sifted
• 3 1/2 c. milk
• 2 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding (other flavors may be used)
• 12 oz. frozen whipped topping, partially thawed
• 1 (7-inch) flowerpot or 10 small flowerpots
• 1 (20 oz.) pkg. Oreos, crushed
• silk, plastic or real flowers for garnish
• gummy worms for garnish (optional)
• garden trowel for serving (optional)

1. In a medium

3. bowl,
4. mix
5. butter, cream cheese and sugar with a mixer.
6. In a second medium bowl, mix the milk and pudding. Add the
7. whipped
8. topping
9. to
10. thetudding mixture. Combine the 2 mixtures.tover

12. bottom of each flowerpot with a plastic lid,
13. a
14. piece
15. oftoil, or a piece of plastic wrap.
16. Start layering

19. crumbs and the creamy mixture, making several layers of each, ending with Oreos on top. Cover with plastic
20. wrap
21. andtefrigerate
22. for several hours. Before serving "plant"

24. flower and lay the gummy worms on the "dirt" if desired.
25. To serve, use a clean garden trowel or spoon.
26. Serves 8 to 10.
