Swedish Potato Dumplings

  1. Cook onions and bacon with margarine until clear.
  2. Brown meat and drain.
  3. Mix onions, bacon, meat and spices (set aside).
  4. Grate potatoes at medium speed in blender.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons salt to grated potatoes.
  6. Start boiling salt water in 2 large pots.
  7. Add flour and oatmeal to potatoes.
  8. Make round balls of potato mixture, place and seal 1 tablespoon of meat mixture in center. Plop into water filled wooden spoons.
  9. Cook on medium-high 1 hour after last dumpling has been added.
