Blender Ketchup

  1. Quarter tomatoes; remove stem ends.
  2. Add peppers, seeded, and cut into strips.
  3. Add onions, peeled and quartered.
  4. Mix.
  5. Put vegetables in blender, filling jar 3/4 full.
  6. Blend on high 4 seconds.
  7. Pour into large kettle or roasting pan.
  8. Repeat until all vegetables are blended.
  9. Add vinegar, sugar, salt and spices tied loosely in bag.
  10. Simmer, uncovered, in a 325u0b0 oven until reduced half.
  11. Remove spices.
  12. Seal immediately in hot sterilized jars.
  13. Process in boiling water bath 10 minutes.
  14. Makes 5 pints.
