Campfire Beans
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1 tsp. Tabasco
- 1 tin chili
- 1 1/2 lb. ground sirloin, cooked and drained
- 1/2 lb. lean bacon, cooked and drained
- 1/2 lb. bratwurst, cut in 1-inch slices, cooked and drained
- 2 large tins pork and beans
- 1 tin lima beans, drained and rinsed
- In a large bowl, mix all non-meat and non-bean ingredients. Add cooked beef, bacon and bratwurst. Stir in beans. Pour in two 2-quart casserole dishes. Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
