Lasagna Florentine(This Can Be Prepared In Advance And Refrigerated)
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach, drained
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. creamed cottage cheese (12 oz.)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 (8 oz.) lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- Drain
- uncooked
- spinach
- on
- paper towels.
- Meanwhile, cook ground
- beef
- and onion in skillet until beef is browned. Add mushrooms, tomato sauce, salt, oregano, basil and pepper. Cover and
- simmer 15 minutes.
- Mix together spinach, 1 egg and 1/2 teaspoon
- salt.
- Set
- aside.
- Combine cottage cheese and 1 egg. Mix well.
- Set aside.
