Beefy Lasagne
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 large can Hunt's Manwich sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. garlic salt or powder
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- Cook beef in skillet until done; drain fat.
- Stir in Hunt's Manwich, water, garlic salt, basil and salt.
- Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley and oregano.
- Place half the noodles in a 2-quart baking dish.
- Top with half the cottage cheese mixture and half the Mozzarella cheese.
- Spread half the meat mixture over.
- Repeat layers.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.
- Cut into squares.
- Makes 8 servings.
