Chocolate-Malted Cookies

  1. Sift together flour, malted milk powder, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  2. In large bowl with portable electric mixer at medium speed, or wooden spoon, beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until fluffy.
  3. Beat in milk until smooth.
  4. Gradually stir in flour mixture mixing until well combined.
  5. Stir in nuts.
  6. Refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour.
  7. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  8. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
  9. Drop batter by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.
  10. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until set but not brown.
  11. Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
  12. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
